Finally some commonsense in the debate – Anne Henderson, Deputy Director of the Sydney Institute, writing in The Australian says that this referendum will not be decided by which politicians are supporting the YES and NO cases but that being quite different in nature from all the previous ones, people will make up their own minds. She also says that YES republicans should persevere as a win for the NO case if far from a certain result. Further she contends that the monarchists are doing their best to confuse us all.
