Signs that the republic debate is going to get intensely personal. Former senator Reg Withers, who is heading the NO campaign in WA described the republicans as “a boring, dreary lot….. They all look like bloodshot dachshunds.” This followed less than flattering remarks on personalities associated with the YES case by ACM campaign director, Mr David Elliott. The ACM have also decided to put some “life and fun” back into the campaign.
