The death of Rosemary Laing, Australian photo-based artist is announced. She is best known for her flight research 1998-2000 series of photographs. Much of her work was inspired by nature, politics and natural disasters. In the early 2000s, her work incorporated her feelings after the loss of the Republic referendum. She was featured in the National Gallery of Australia’s major exhibition of women artists “Know My Name” in 2022.
