While the republicans absorbed the result, early analyses only were evident in discussing the referendum outcome focussed mainly on the conduct of the campaign, the adequacy of funding, the role of the Prime Minister and the difficulty in selling the complex presidential selection model. Before long, attention will turn to how women voted and what did or didn’t influence their vote.
