WfaAR provided further information to the Senate Committee about women delegates to the 1998 Constitutional Convention and on women’s participation in voluntary voting for the Convention delegates in 1997. The results were surprising – in all States and Territorities the return rate of women’s votes was higher than that for men; in NSW and the NT, it was significantly higher.
