It takes a foreigner to see this……Aung San Suu Kyi says Australians “lack passion for democratic processes and it needs to be reinvigorated. We’re just starting out on the road which you take for granted.” She also said, ” A constitution has to be acceptable to the vast majority of the people of the land. They all have to feel that it is there to protect them and the make sure they are the equal of everybody else in the land”. Very wise words for all Australians to ponder.
