Second Go for Scottish Independence Vote

The Scottish Government isn’t taking no for an answer and has published a draft bill for a second independence vote in response to the Brexit result (majority of Scots voters voted to Remain in the EU). First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, announced that she intends to hold a new poll only two years after the narrowly lost YES vote in 2014. The eight-page bill sets out rules for the campaign and conduct of the poll and how votes are to be counted. 16 and 17 year olds plus EU citizens in Scotland will be able to vote.
