There&#8217;s a whole room of objects lent from the Royal Collection by the English\u00a0Queen and\u00a0aristocrats\u00a0including the famous Windsor\u00a0Halo Tiara although, we now find, it is\u00a0one of many. Cartier&#8217;s clients, of course, include the very wealthy apart from the royal houses.\u00a0To see\u00a0such a dazzling and expensive\u00a0display is useful for dwelling on how different their lives are from most Australians, the average household in the Antipodes\u00a0being a bit short on tiaras or, indeed, events to wear them to. The exhibition\u00a0runs until 22 July.
