Former NZ PM, Helen Clark, referred to them as markers of “snobbery and social distinction”. Is that what we want here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While he’s about it, Abbott also must categorically state that he will not legislate to make it harder for us to become a Republic as Joh Bjelke-Petersen did in Queensland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
