Well, they didn&#8217;t vote to get rid of the monarchy so WfaAR can&#8217;t see what the Brexit vote has to do with Australia becoming a Republic. Our situation is not at all similar to the UK where one sixth of current laws emanate from legislation passed by the European Parliament. A press release was issued and chair, Peter Fitzsimons, bruited the fabulous implications from his column in the Sydney Morning Herald.
