{"id":1020,"date":"2018-08-24T20:46:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-24T10:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.womenrep.org\/?p=1020"},"modified":"2023-04-13T20:46:39","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T10:46:39","slug":"foreign-flag-over-our-sovereign-country","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/womenrep.org\/?p=1020","title":{"rendered":"Foreign Flag Over Our Sovereign Country"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Opening today at the National Museum of Australia\u00a0is the exhibition &#8220;Black Mist Burnt Country: Testing the Bomb, Maralinga and Australian Art&#8221;.\u00a0The show uses\u00a0painting, photography, sculpture and music to\u00a0shine a light\u00a0on\u00a0the human\u00a0and\u00a0environmental impact of\u00a0hundreds of\u00a0British atomic tests, large and small,\u00a0conducted in South\u00a0Australia\u00a0and Western Australia\u00a0between 1952 and 1963.
